Somatic Awareness for Women

First Monday of Every Month

Slow down, feel, come home to your whole self. Facilitated by Judyth Weaver this class sponsored by the Women’s Centre is open to all women and is by donation. These sessions are to allow us the time to feel, to sense, to pay attention to what our organisms/bodies are saying. To listen, to allow and to respond – if we want to. To come to peace with ourselves. Somatic awareness is the basic foundation of all somatic work.

Classes are free and all are welcome. Contact Judyth: 250-935-8500

Vinyasa Yoga with Kelly Benson

Sundays, 11am – 12:15pm, OM studio

Students can expect from my classes a thoughtful flowy sequence of movements that open the body and bring the mind into presence. This is an all-levels class where I offer variations to suit all that show up, with never any pressure to anything more than breathing in a mindful manor. Expect a small challenge to test your edge and your strength while still focusing mainly on the connection to the unconscious side of your life. Yoga is a feeling and a state of being, not a pose or a shape. I invite you to come join me Sundays to disconnect from the outside world to reconnect to yourself.  Start your day off by giving time to yourself.
$10 drop-in  / $40 for a 5 class pass valid for 8 weeks.
Cash only please.

Yang to Yin with Kelly

Thursday, 5:15-7:15pm

Yang to Yin yoga and a sweet mix of a thoughtful vinyasa flow where we focus on breath and alignment followed by some longer holds to help relax some of the places we targeted during class. This is an all levels and all ages class.
